Hello, my name is Jack Ellis and this upcoming December I will be graduating the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Human Relations. HR has taught me multiple valuable lessons about life and issues going on in the world around us and has made me better because of it.
Through my past couple years in Human Relations, I have noticed how rewarding these classes can be and how it sets myself up to be successful in the real world. Human Relations has been raising myself confidence, knowing that have a voice and opinion that matters. It’s great experience for the real world working with my peers in all these classes and having to problem solve together and work together efficiently, it’s also nice having tough conversations I normally wouldn’t have from people with all different types of cultures, and communicating together brings us closer to change.
As of now I want to pursue Oil & Gas Marketing or supply chain managment. I might earn my master’s at the University of Oklahoma, but I definitely want a professional position of marketing or sales, where I can have interchangeable interactions with people for my career, as I see myself as a people person.
