Welcome to my personal website!

My name is Ema Allinger and I am currently a senior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Human Relations. In my free time I enjoy volunteering and getting involved in my sorority house, Chi Omega.

During my time in college, I have had a wide array of volunteer experiences that have shaped me, both professionally and personally. From devoting my college experience to serving others through my sorority with Make a Wish Oklahoma, to meeting every week with a divorce and grief support group for children of divorced parents, I have grown and learned in a variety of situations. Human Relations has taught me how to connect with others, and help my community in any way possible. I know that these experiences will be a great asset to me when I transition into the real-world of working.

I am grateful to have had incredible professional experiences, with strong small-business owners who became mentors. Working for passionate small-business owners taught me to self-motivate and take initiative, as I typically worked by myself. Since I was the only other employee, and both of my bosses first employees, I had to learn how to work in a fast-paced environment, while anticipating their needs. This meant that my attention to detail, accuracy and meticulous planning was necessary to succeed. Above all, I learned about open and professional communication so I didn’t miss a beat. These positions taught me how to market a brand, plan and execute events and contributed to my continuous learning. By intentionally pursuing professional experience I know I am qualified to take it to the next level.

I hope you enjoy my page!
