Hi! My name is Brooklyn Orcutt! I was born and raised in a small town in northeastern Oklahoma called Chouteau. After graduating, I thought it was time to move south to the great city of Norman where I decided to attend the University of Oklahoma. While I have been here, I decided to pursue a degree in human relations because I absolutely adore people. I have always loved being around people and human relations has only further fostered that. Human relations has helped me cultivate my people skills, learn how to understand others and nurture interpersonal relationships.

My time here at OU and as human relations major has helped me grow in my personal and professional life. The classes that I have taken such as Conflict Resolution, Leadership in Organizations, and Personality and Cultural Awareness have helped me develop skills that I can take into the workplace. These skills can help me work through issues or simply understand others so we can create a productive and inclusive environment. Classes like Personality and Human Relations and Service-Learning have really taught me a lot about myself and who I am. I have a better understanding of how I function now and what issues are important to me and how I want to make a difference. I am leaving OU as a better version of myself. I am ready to take these skills and keep developing them so that I can become an even better person in the future.
